About Us

Codartis is a small software development company, founded in 2005.

For most of our history we have been doing consulting work in enterprise application development projects on the Microsoft .NET platform. To tackle some of the challenges that we have faced on these projects, and which are common when working with large and complex codebases, we have created some free, open-source tools:

• NsDepCop

  A static code analysis tool that helps to enforce namespace dependency rules in C# projects, such as architectural layers and boundaries, or utilized technologies.

• QuickDiagram

  An experimental code visualization tool for C#, similar to the CodeMap feature of Visual Studio Enterprise Edition, but more suitable for interactive exploration.

Based on the high interest and positive feedback, we have decided to further develop QuickDiagram into a commercial product, and this is how Codartis Diagram Tool was born.

Our goal is to provide developers with the best code visualization tool that is fast, intuitive, tightly integrated with the development environment, and reveals the structure and relationships of the codebase from the highest to the lowest levels, from assemblies and namespaces to classes, properties and methods.

Our products are sold and fulfilled via FastSpring, an authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, allowing us to focus exclusively on product development and support.
